AWS Clean Rooms now supports multiple cloud and data sources, including Snowflake and Amazon Athena. This allows customers to securely collaborate with partners on combined datasets without sharing or copying underlying data. This eliminates data movement, protects sensitive information, and ensures data freshness. For example, an advertiser with data in Amazon S3 and a publisher with data in Snowflake can perform audience overlap analysis without building ETL pipelines or sharing raw data. No data from external sources is permanently stored in AWS Clean Rooms, and any temporarily accessed data is deleted after query completion. This streamlines collaboration and insights generation, regardless of where partner data resides.
