The AWS User Group Japan (JAWS-UG) hosted JAWS PANKRATION 2024 themed ‘No Border’. This is a 24-hour online event where AWS Heroes, AWS Community Builders, AWS User Group leaders, and others from around the world discuss topics ranging from cultural discussions to technical talks. One of the speakers at this event, Kevin Tuei, an AWS Community Builder based in Kenya, highlighted the importance of building in public and sharing your knowledge with others, a very fitting talk for this kind of event.
What particularly resonated with me was their emphasis on "No Border" in knowledge sharing. In a rapidly evolving field like cloud computing, collaboration and knowledge exchange are crucial. Events like this help us learn from each other and stay ahead of the curve.
I believe this concept is particularly relevant in today's globalized tech world. We have a thriving global community with diverse perspectives and experiences. By embracing the principles of "No Border", we can foster greater innovation and collaboration.
I would love to see more initiatives like JAWS PANKRATION that transcend geographical boundaries. Imagine the impact we could make if we could bring together brilliant minds from all corners of the world to share their insights and expertise.
In short, JAWS PANKRATION 2024 is a prime example of how the AWS community can bring people together from all over the world to foster innovation. Let's continue to break down barriers and build a better future together.
